After Color Care

After coloring your hair, we recommend our After Color Treatment - a mildly formulated shampoo that was designed for use after coloring with Naturcolor. It is important to use very mild shampoo because a strong, chemically intensive shampoo results in removing deposited color from the hair, rather than the intended effect to just remove excess product.

Once the coloring process is complete, it is important to remove any excess Naturcolor product so that residue does not remain in the hair and potentially stain towels, pillowcases, etc., while also maintaining brilliant color. Due to its mild formulation, After Color Treatment is more of a rinse aid than a traditional shampoo, but can be used for daily gentle cleansing.

Natural Haircare

Beyond color, it is also important to maintain a natural haircare routine for proper shampoo, conditioner and ongoing maintenance and styling products.

Dry scalps and hair are replenished with naturally occurring oils that are often removed by harsh chemicals, hair cleansing, bleaching, coloring, perming and normal daily exposure to the sun and elements.
